Location: McFarland Park, Story County, Iowa
An impromptu art vacancy event featuring five Ames based artists whose works are created from and about environmental ecology. Materials used include lake water, beeswax, string, irrigation tubing, and limestone.
This mini art vacancy event is done in partnership with the Story County Conservation Center at McFarland Park.
The works are located around the lake and were viewed from the walking trail as well as the hay rack ride during the story county conservation fall festival.
The works were on display Sunday October 4 from 3-6.
